I hope you are all finding things to keep yourselves busy and are staying safe. I am missing you all!
Your home learning will be uploaded daily. I will now also include answers with each daily upload so you are able to mark your work from the day before as your first task of the day. If you have any problems please feel free to contact the school office at email@example.com
Joe Wicks (The Body Coach) is attempting to keep us all moving and has volunteered to be the nations PE teacher throughout our time off. He will be performing a live exercise video everyday at 9am from his YouTube channel. We have tried some of these in PE lessons and they are a big hit. I will continue to post physical exercise ideas on the days we would usually have PE. (Tuesday & Friday)
Within phonics It is most important as parents / carers that you know how to pronounce each sound correctly. Please visit https://home.oxfordowl.co.uk/reading/learn-to-read-phonics/ each day and click on the audio guide to listen to the sounds you will be saying that day. Another useful link to watch is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TkXcabDUg7Q Although we do not use Read Write Inc at Welbourne it is still good advice, modelling correct pronunciation. Free Read Write Inc. Phonics lessons on Facebook and YouTube for children to watch at home; three short Speed Sound lessons every day. Look at https://www.ruthmiskin.com/en/find-out-more/coronavirus-covid-19-update/ for further information.
www.phonicsplay.co.uk is also a fantastic resource for fun activities which will support the children's learning as well as supporting their education. All resources have been made free at this time, so please feel free to take advantage of this.
Here are some of the many beautiful rainbow pictures I have received. Well done for supporting the NHS and all of our key workers. These will certainly be making people smile.
